Not my first time here but it is the best and fastest service I've received on my '17 F-250 in five or six visits in a year. A couple of those visits were for recalls. The great service was due in large part to Walterboro Ford bringing in a new service manager. A no-nonsense guy that wants to get the job done. I apologize for forgetting his name but I'm grateful for, like I said, the great service. Thank you.
New to the area found these guys to be friendly and helpful. Took the time to answer all our questions
I let them know that I was aware my serpentine belt was broken. They told me they had to get the part in from a different dealership, which was fine. They gave me a quote for about $200, which was also fine. In the time waiting for the belt to arrive, one of the mechanics told me that I had a leak in my fuel pump and the new cost would be $800. After speaking with my dad again, he told me to make them show me the leak. When I asked them to show me the leak, they kept giving me the run around, saying they would do it when they began working on my car.
I was driving home from Jacksonville, FL to Columbia, SC when I had car problems while on I-95. I pulled off the interstate and after talking to my dad, realized my serpentine belt was broken. I had to stay overnight at a hotel since it was Sunday evening. I waited until about 11AM to actually arrive at Walterboro to give them some time.
Finally around 5:00 PM, I drove the car home after only having the serpentine belt fixed. There were no issues. Three months later, there is still not leak. They lied to me and tried to charge me $800 instead of $200. They are the only auto shop within miles of this exit. I hope no one else gets screwed the way I almost did.
This dealership made my first time car buying experience a breeze. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They really care about the customer and are willing to do whatever it takes to make their customers leave happy. They made sure my new car had a full tank of gas and a fresh oil change! I am in love with my 2016 Fusion! I couldn't be happier! I know where I will be going for any other car I buy!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This auto shop tried to charge me $600 extra for a part I did not need when I was stranded.
My wife and I have bought 4 used vehicle, so far. They have been great vehicles, great prices and excellent sales people who aren't pushy like at most dealerships. And the service department does a great job and are super friendly. They even gave my wife a loaner car last time she had to leave her Explorer for routine service work. Customers for life!
Eventually, the mechanic told me they didn't have the parts to replace my pump so there was no need to show me the leak. I drive a Ford Fiesta. This is a Ford dealership. But they tried to tell me they don't have the tools to fix Ford vehicles.
