The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely furnished and clean. We travel from Florida to North Carolina approximately three times a year and make it a point to stay here.
Nice,quite,very clean. Nice staff.great price. Pool was nice. Had yummy cookies in the lobby at check in. Breakfast included. Very happy with this location.
5 star rating doesn't mean this is a 5-star hotel, but that it's a GREAT deal for the price. Multiple stays over several weeks and management always very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are dependably clean and up to date. If you have a problem, the manager tries his best to solve it. If the lot is full, go early for breakfast, actually available at 5, though advertised at 6. Want a fancy breakfast? ..walk across street to Cracker Barrell. Complainers will always find fault, and probably wouldn't be satisfied at Hampton Inn or Holiday in across street. Walterboro isn't a major metro area, so curb your expectations a little.

Overall stay was good, rooms were fine but my wife and I are not real picky. Breakfast was fairly average she ate at the hotel 2 of the 5 days we stayed, I'm not a breakfast person. Pool was a bit small but functional for us. The staff was friendly and asked us several times how we were doing and if we needed anything. Really the only issue we had was with billing. We arrived a day early and the computer checked us out twice. Once after the 1st night and again after the 4th. It got so messed up we were almost double charged for the 5th night. It did get resolved however, and in a timely manner.
