This place was very very nice.
Dang! This place really goes the extra mile, for a budget stay. We came in at midnight and got the last room for the same price offered at the nearby Rodeway, Super 8, etc. It's Dec 23 and they've decked out not only our room with some Christmas decor, but also the entirety of the motel exterior. Staff was super nice, helpful, friendly, and efficient, and the room was plenty nice as well. We'll definitely be staying here any time we need to make a long trek down 95.
However the hotel was very accommodating and understanding when I told them that the guests above us constantly walking around and shoes.
The first thing I noticed when I drove up was that the hotel was decorated for the holidays. I was very happy to see that because you so very rarely see a well decorated hotel if at all.
The bed was very comfortable and everything works great in the room.
The only reason that this place is not get five stars, was that when the wood floors were installed I don’t think that they use the insulation barrier and so I could hear absolutely every step and every time someone moves in object in the room above me.
What a wonderful place to stay! We only stayed one night, on our way to Myrtle Beach, but it was a great experience, from check in to check out. Candice and Brenda were awesome! Hotel was decorated for Christmas. I have never stayed in a hotel that had so much personality. It is family owned. I loved all the flowers and the sign that said stop and smell the flowers. Will be looking forward to stopping there in the future.
It was like a sub woofer speaker for the deeper sounds, and it tweeter for the higher frequency sounds for something clattering on the floor. If someone drops a Chapstick on the floor it would’ve sounded like a gunshot going off.
We were pleasantly surprised. Candice was great. All the extra flowers and plaques outside the rooms were wonderful. Definitely a cut above the average "budget" motel. We will plan our trips so we can stop here again.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and a place to stay. We were traveling through to Florida and needed a spot to sleep for a few hours. The woman who was working at 3am gave us the best customer service. She was awesome, the rooms were so comfortable and very nicely done. It was decorated for fall with fresh plants and pumpkins throughout the whole place. Very well kept. To top it off the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean! Excellent place. We will be back when we travel through again.
